Case 1
Purgatory 2
Your case begins to be processed, and you go to court many times, meeting the ICE officials at the bridge at 4am. Each time, they take you to a detention center, and stick you and your family in a Hielera with other migrants. It is so cold that on one of these court dates, your son develops pneumonia. They strip you of your clothes and your belongings, making you wear these ugly, orange jumpsuits. They keep the lights on all day, with the TV loudly blaring something about the Migrant Protection Program over and over again. You have no idea how much time has passed, but at the end of it, they let you go with nothing but a new court date. You dread going through this process again and again.
What do you do?
