Case 1
Camp Outside the Bridge
You and your family try to make the most of homeless-life outside of the bridge. Food is scarce, and the harsh heat of the desert makes living in your make-shift tent unbearable.
At night, gruff men always pass through, and you begin to get worried that one of them will take advantage of you or your daughter. The other migrants camping out tell you that it's risky to stay here. They say that some of their friends have been kidnapped and forced to sell drugs.
You're tired of waiting. You want to go to the U.S., to finally have a peaceful, stable life again.
What do you do?
