Case 1
Baby is Born
A few months later, you give birth to a beautiful baby boy. Your daughter helps care for you during the first few weeks after you've given birth. The last months have been really hard on you both. You ran out of money, and have been relying on your neighbors to bring you food. Your daughter has missed a lot of school.
When you recover, you have to decide how to get to the U.S. You could take a coyote, but you don't have any money to pay him. You've also heard that there are freight trains that go to the U.S. that you could hop aboard, but you are not sure how safe it would be to ride on top of a fast-moving train with a little baby. Of course, you could always walk and hitch-hike, but you are not sure how practical that is.
What do you do?
