Deportation

The ICE officers decide to deport you, pushing you onto a crowded plane with several other shackled detainees. You're dropped off in a remote part of Guatemala without a way to contact your family. You and the other detainees trek for a few days in the heat, but without food, water, or direction, the journey becomes unbearable.

All you can think about is how you've failed your family, how your daughters will never get the education that they deserve, how your wife will continue to go hungry. Two weeks later, you are emaciated, on the brink of death.
