You're Crazy

You get the attention of one of the passing CBP officers, and muster up the courage to tell them how you've been feeling. You tell them you want to die, you want to get help, your family still needs you.

The CBP officer asks you if you're thinking about killing yourself. When you say yes, he immediately re-handcuffs you. You've been determined a danger to yourself and/or others.

So back to the hole you go. Your thoughts eat you alive in the dark, windowless cell. You stop eating all together. When the CBP officers come to retrieve you seven days later, you are emaciated, on the brink of death.

They take you to the emergency care center, but as the doctors start to insert needles into your arms and a tube up your nose, you feel yourself slipping away.

You close your eyes and picture your daughters' smiling faces. You wish that you could have told them goodbye.
